Sanjiv Thakuri , Founder Director at Adventurehimal Nepal is a native Himalayan travel professional with more than 2 decades of experience in the service industry. A Graduate of arts from Delhi University, Sanjiv began his career in the National parks of Nepal working as a Naturalist for a number of years. Later he joined some of the leading adventure companies and worked as an outdoor leader in India, Nepal, Tibet and the Alps. He also holds a degree in First Aid and evacuation from recognized institution in Nepal. Currently Sanjiv is pursuing his MBA degree in order to gain academic knowledge of the broader administration of the business. With more than 15 years of leading trip outdoors, he is skilled in ecotourism and outdoor education and ways in which they can benefit individuals and society.

Mumta Thakuri Pokharel, is the better half of Sanjiv Thakuri and a highly versatile professional with ingrained sense for service and duty of care. A Bachelor in Physical education, BEd and a Diploma holder in Beauty Culture from New Delhi, Mumta is a wealth of knowledge in customer care and is the head of Customer Relation and Client’s Support at Adventurehimal. A vivid traveler, Mumta recognizes the value of prompt deliverance of client service and is highly committed to offering the best value for customer's money. When not at Adventurehimal, Mumta spends her time helping children with learning disability understanding and facilitating them nurture their growth towards bringing out the best in them.
