Mardi Himal located north of Pokhara next to Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Mountain) and Annapurna sanctuary is a wonderful off the beaten path which offers total wilderness experience with its lively and pristine natural surroundings. Rich in biodiversity, Mardi Himal trek offers stunning mountain views with a unique cultural experience. The Seti River meandering through an isolated wilderness is a perfect river for intimate whitewater magic. Rafting on the turquoise blue water of the Seti River provides an immense thrill and gratification to all whitewater enthusiasts. Elephant back safari seeking glimpses of endangered wildlife in Chitwan National Park all add up to make this trip an unforgettable experience in this side of the Himalayas.



Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu/ transfer to hotel. Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour of the old part of Kathmandu city. Day 03: Fly to Pokhara / drive to Phedi, commence the trek. Day 04: Trek to Forest camp. Day 05: Trek to low camp. Day 06: Trek to High camp. Day 07: Trek to Mardi Himal base camp, overnight at High camp. Day 08: Trek to Siding village. Day 09: Trek to Mardi pul and drive to Pokhara. Day 10: Kayaking familiarization on the Phewa lake in Pokhara. Day 11: Drive to the put in point and commence Kayak clininc. Day 12: Beach camp. Day 13: Full day kayaking, Beach camp. Day 14: Conclude Kayaking and transfer to Chitwan Park. Day 15: Full day excursion in Chitwan park. Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu. Day 17: At leisure in Kathmandu. Day 18: Departure.


Trip Grade: Moderate walking, class 3 kayaking and gentle walks in Chitwan park

Best Season: February to May in Spring and October to December in Autumn.

Recommended Equipments
: Good pair of well worn hiking boots, Gortex quality water proof jacket and trousers, fleece jacket, camp shoes or sandals, Cotton trousers, tee shirts and shorts, sun hat, gloves, day pack, water bottle, sun glasses, flash light with spare batteries, insect repellent, bio-degradable toiletries, sewing kit, binoculars, playing cards and personal medical kit.


Trip Cost: Min 2 pax US $ 2200 per person on a twin sharing basis.

Cost includes: Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu / Pokhara on B/B basis, Flight Ktm – Pkr, Full service camping trek, Trek Permits, National Park and Conservation Fees, kayaking equipment with experienced instructors, beach camp and all meals while on the river, safari activities in the Park and Private transportation through the trip.

Not included: Client insurance, emergency evacuation costs, video fees in National Parks, Bottled and alcoholic drinks, personal clothing and equipment.
