An unrivaled adventure for those with a strong desire to conquer their life time dreams. This trek includes spectacular views of Everest from Gokyo Ri and Kala pathar as well as a high altitude traverse over the Cho La Pass. Ascending the Dudh Koshi  valley from Lukla we have will have an extra day to acclimatize in Namche Bazaar, a delightful bustling Sherpa village. We continue the trek from here towards the sleepy village of Phortse Tenga finally reaching our destination at Gokyo. We will climb Gokyo Ri to view the western shoulder of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Makalu. Leaving Gokyo valley, we traverse over the rugged Cho La pass ( 5420 mts ) and descend to Lobuche to climb another summit, Kala pathar ( 5650 mts ) and marvel the spectacle of the Khumbu icefall.



Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu/ transfer to hotel. Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour of the old part of Kathmandu city. Day 03: Fly Kathmandu/ Lukla – trek to Phakding. Day 04: Trek to Namche bazaar. Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche, optional day hike to Thame, Day 06: Trek to Khumjung. Day 07: Trek to Machhermo. Day 08: Trek to Gokyo. Day 09: Day hike to Gokyo Ri. Day 10: Trek to Dragnag. Day 11: Trek to Duglha. Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep. Day 13: Hike to Kalapathhar then trek to Pheriche. Day 14: Trek to Namche. Day 15: Rest day in Namche bazaar. Day 16: Trek to Phakding. Day 17: Trek to Lukla. Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu. Day 19: At leisure in Kathmandu. Day 20: Departure.


Trip Grade: Strenuous trekking with an altitude gain above 5000 meters

Best Season: February to May in Spring and October to December in Autumn.


Recommended Equipments: Good pair of well worn hiking boots, Gortex quality water proof jacket and trousers, fleece jacket, camp shoes or sandals, Cotton trousers, tee shirts and shorts, sun hat, gloves, day pack, water bottle, sun glasses, flash light with spare batteries, insect repellent, bio-degradable toiletries, sewing kit, binoculars, playing cards and personal medical kit.


Trek Cost: Min 2 pax US $ 1900 per person on a twin sharing basis.


Cost includes: Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu on B/B basis, Flight Ktm – Lukla, tea house trek with an experienced guide, accommodation in comfortable lodges, breakfast, lunch and dinner on trek, Trek Permits, National Park and Conservation Fees and all ground transportation.

Not included: Client insurance, emergency evacuation costs, video fees in National Parks, Bottled and alcoholic drinks, personal clothing and equipment.
