Conditions of Contract

Please read carefully the terms in the conditions of contract and waiver of liability as outlined below.

 

PAYMENT

A non refundable deposit of US $ 100 along with a completed booking from should be sent to us to secure your booking. We will confirm the accepted booking in writing, at which time a legally binding contract is created. The balance of the trip payment should be paid in full prior to the trip departure, failure to which, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and cancellation charges will apply. We accept all major credit card payments but an extra 4 % charge will be levied on such payments.

 

CANCELLATIONS

If it becomes necessary to cancel your holiday due to a true emergency, please notify us immediately in writing. Upon receipt by us of your written advice, cancellation will take effect. Any refund due will be subject of the foreign exchange policy of the government of Nepal.

 

More than 7 days prior to the trip departure                                           US $ 25 per person

Less than 7 days prior to the trip departure                                            50 % of the trip cost per person

Less than 2 days prior to trip departure                                                  no refund

Transfer to alternate trip                                                                       Nepali Rupees 500 per person

 

However, if  you do not show up for the trip, there will be no refund under any circumstances. Once a trip has commenced and you leave early for any reason, either voluntarily or involuntarily, there will be no refund. No agents or sub agents has authority to vary these conditions, adventurehimal.com reserves sole rights on authority of the trip.

 

ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

Your booking is accepted on the understanding that:

  1. You are aware that the adventure trip, in addition to the usual dangers and risks inherent has certain additional dangers and risks, some of which may include, physical exertion, weather extremes, remoteness from the normal medical services and evacuation difficulties, if you are disabled.
  2. You acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of adventure travel is derived from the inherent risks incurred by travelling and undertaking activities beyond the levels of safety normal at home or at work, and that these risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, being a reason for your participation.
  3. You acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and you must allow for alternatives. The outline itinerary provided for each trip is an indication of what each tour may accomplish and does not form a contractual obligation on part of adventurehimal, Nepal.
  4. You understand all the aforementioned risks associated to the type of travel you will undertake and agree that no liability will attach to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect to death, personal injury, illness or for any loss or damage to the property of the passenger during the course of the trip, however caused.

 

VISAS AND VACCINATION

It is entirely your responsibility to posses, obtain and arrange relevant visas and vaccination certificates required for the whole journey and the tour.  We accept no responsibility whatsoever in the event that these matters are not dealt with prior to departure.
